Ground Geophysics:

The Company owns and operates a broad selection of geophysical equipment enabling surveys to be customized to effectively explore for a wide range of conceptual targets. The geophysical equipment is located at the company's Bangalore base, allowing for rapid mobilization to anywhere in India without the hassles of time consuming and costly equipment imports.

IndiGEO currently offers the following geophysical surveys;

  • Electromagnetics
    1. Zonge ZeroTEM, NanoTEM
    2. Apex Parametrics Max-Min
  • Resistivity / Induced Polarisation
    1. Zonge GGT10 Transmitter & GDP - 32 Receiver
  • Ground Magnetics
    1. GEM System GSM - 19 v7 magnetometers, with in -built GPS
    2. Geometrics G856AX base station magnetometers
    3. JT-10 Magnetic Susceptibility Meter
In addition to the ground geophysical services, IndiGEO will assist you in designing your geophysical surveys, supervise third-party surveys (including airborne surveys), process and interpret geophysical datasets, using leading-edge modeling and processing software.

Why Ground Magnetics Mega-grids - the Indian Scenario?

IndiGEO has extensive experience in conducting cost-effective, large area, ground magnetic surveys, and has completed over 45,000 line km surveys to date. In India, ground magnetics surveys are considered a cost-effective alternative to airborne surveys (for surveys of less than 7500 line km) with advantages including minimal mobilization charges and immediate start-up, open access to data at any time and no time consuming airborne survey permitting processes to deal with. IndiGEO currently operates 15 ground magnetometers, averaging ~4000 to 5000 line km production per month.
